I am trying to find out what books to read in order to catch up on anatomy and physiology before school starts in January. I just got accepted into a program at my college and haven't taken A and P in about 2 years and I rented my books, so any tips are welcome :)

There's the A&P coloring books on Amazon, which are awesome. KhanAcademy on YouTube is also very helpful.

Fair enough. Not everyone's piece of cake.

Candycrush is another option. By the time you graduate, you'll have habits formed which will allow you to succeed when you land a job.

There should be a good summary of the A&P of each system at the start of each chapter in your Med Surg textbook. I would focus on that.

I would recommend "Bed Number Ten". It's a good book and will give you ideas about bedside manner.

I read that many years ago. It was excellent.

I highly recommend Unaccountable by Marty Makarry for understanding the health system and how it impedes the practice of medicine.

It's not going to mean anything to you to read H&P right now, so just read for relaxation.

Read up on ways to manage stress and anxiety. Coping mechanisms will be more helpful if you learn them now :)
