I have really admired the way the police force and fire fighters have band together in brotherhood these last few horrible weeks. There are men and women from these professions from all over the country trying to help and support each other. They really do stick together as a national team when need be. Why can't nurses feel the same way for each other? Do you think if a nurse died or was fired for protecting her license that nurses from around the country would come be supportive?
I really try to be the opposite of what nurses have the reputation for being. I DO NOT eat the young. I go out of my way to help them. Etc, etc, etc. You get the point.
Maybe we need to form a new association to give new spark to nuring and new leadership.
