Great news for myself.
I'm enrolled in a program for Disabled Veterans in which we are sent back to school at no cost in order to gain the skills necessary to find gainful employment.
Normally the requirement is to have a finished degree in a 3 year time span, and be employed by the end of that 3 years under the program.
My rehab. counselor has informed me that due to excellent grades and a notable level of perseverance despite my disabilities - he has gone to his superiors and gotten me an extension into a BSN.
Exciting - there is no way me or my family could survive without this program - so very big news for me today.

Now this is a GOOD use of taxpayer dollars! So much of our taxes are just wasted - this is a great thing. Congratulations! And thank you for your service to our country too.
