I love Gomerblog. I love it even more when people express righteous indignation over stories, not realizing that they. are. satire.

That's my favorite!!! Especially the one about the nurses dying because of the open soda container:D

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

I love the comments. Better than the onion!

The other day it was limit allergies to three and some guy went bonkers that he has some acquired hyperimmunological condition and gets delayed angioedema from NSAIDs and he misses his Advil liquid gels.

Specializes in OR, Nursing Professional Development.

I love gomerblog. I also love my local satire site that apparently has touched off an uproar so large that they made snopes twice this month! And right in their site description, they state its satire and you'd have to be stupid to believe their crap.

Specializes in Hospice.

I had to actually go to the website, because the link basically just pooped itself and died on me.

This is some funny stuff. After reading a few of the stories, it's my second favorite blog, after Hyperbole and a Half.

I have Gomer blog on my Facebook. Every so often I'll be scrolling along glancing at things and see something ridiculous. Then I pause and really look and see it's them and laugh.

Ha! I do the exact same thing. Like the one about the nurse being fired for ordering the wrong sandwich:p

Gomerblog is the best! And I agree, the comments are golden. I loved the Ativan diffuser story, and the people who argued about how the dosing was regulated in a diffused form
