Abuse at the job

Hi so im a clerk/receptionist

All the clerks or receptionists role is to greet patients register them check doctor entry in the file order files telephone use

I know as i worked as a substitute when i entered but then they found me 1 department and the coworkers one of them hated me she said omg not him she just didnt like me for no reason and was very mean even phoning the manager to remove me! so ijust left after 1 day...it was surgical filing preperation room.

Then they found me this cardiology clinic this where the real abuse start .i was doing clinics and chasing results which i dont understand (both are a nure role) theyre very stressful and my pay isnt that of a nurse. The managment didnt want to send a nurse so they sent a clerk to fill the role.(Other nurses at other clinics all were puzzled by this role i had) My boss is very strict something which many substitutes had told me and MANY refused to work in the place when they offered,also over 10 ppl bad left here..she will shout make u feel uncomfortable and small...the coworkers are also big backstabbers they will take a desk and computer for them and me i have no space i have to ask their permission even when i take a vacation leave they and the boss will tell me dont take some days as you have clinics.

So finally after 2 years i had enough

I become super thin i was always sad and angry inside

So i left and i will be a substitute part time. I couldnt stand working full time in an abusive hospital.

Shame as i work hard and im helpful to people

Maybe it was my luck i didnt find the correct department? But i hope the next person will not suffer as i did.

The hospital shall have warm welcoming stuff who are there to help people not the opposite
