I am just beginning my pre-reqs for the nursing program and feel so overwhelmed with all that is ahead. What advice can anyone give? What did you all do to keep yourselves motivated? Any advice would help...thanks so much

Nursing school can be overwhelming at times...there are times when you feel like you're in the deep end of the ocean:
Try to keep things in short, measureable goals...rather than look at all you have to do and learn by the time you graduate, keep things in the very near future; what do you have to do for this week. When it comes to clinical, when you get a complex pt that needs a lot of procedures, instead of letting that intimidate you, think about how it will be a really good learning experience, and how it will give you the opportunity to learn how to organize your day.
You are in a marathon right now...your goal probably isn't even in sight yet. Making short goals will help you keep from getting discouraged.
Keep on truckin'!
