24 hour shift???

  1. Is it against the law to be required to work 24-36 hour shifts....????? After working 12 hours our hospital puts us on call for OB for 12 hours then we have to work the following day....I know that this is not safe and I have quit this job, but there have been many days that we were scheduled like this.....Now that I am herniated at L4 and L5 and can't keep up the pace they have forced me to go PRN and won't use me....
