I have passed the nclex, but had a hard time finding a job as a LPN applicant. I have been working for a few weeks now, but I'm still on orientation. Does anyone know if the orientation and specific facility training hours count toward the 120 hours needed? I have not received an answer from the board. Thanks for any help.

I have been licensed for a while so my info may be out of date, but when I was doing my 120 the hours that I actually worked in a clinical setting for orientation counted for that time but the classroom orientation did not. Sit down and figure out exactly how many hours you have been in hands on training with a preceptor, if you've been working for a few weeks you may be close to meeting your goal.
