Hello Everyone. I am currently an LPN looking to attend Galen nursing school in Tampa FL. I will be attending the July class *speaking it into existence*:) At the moment I am taking prereqs here in northern Fl to transfer into the Galen program so that it will cut down on the tuition and also lighten my load while attending the program. I have not attended any info sessions all I have done so far is speak with a lady by the name of Michelle in the NSG dept. Is anyone else out there interested in the July class?
Hopefully we can go together, a "buddy system" type of thing. Like I said I am in Fl ( about 5.5 hours from Tampa) we can meet up and go to the school to get info together, Im open to anything, really. Just don't want to do it alone. BUT I WILL! Im relocating to go to this school. Is anyone else willing to relocate as well?
For the people who has completed the LPN-RN program , Did any of you start the program with your prereqs already taken? Does financial aid still cover the 1st & 2nd quarter being that you will only be taking nursing courses ?
IM sorry you and your friends had such a horrible experience. Most of the nurses I work with went to Galen ( San Antonio) they loved it and had no complaints. Galen credits transfer to university of Texas at Arlington and they are an accredited CCNE bachelors and masters program. You don't know the facts. University of Indiana Wesleyan also is accredited and accepts Galen credits they are also CCNE accredited. Oh and westerns governors just to name a few. I feel that it is totally worth it to save yourself from waiting on a 2 year waiting list
Will you still be attending Galen?
