I just graduated college with an AA but I messed up and had no ideas of being a nurse and I got two C's - composition, psychology. All ADN/RN programs need these. Knowing that, I was directed to look into Galen since GPA doesn't really matter as much but then found out that they were not properly accredited. Then my aunt got a direct recommendation from a Rasmussen director saying that she would recommend that I get admitted to Rasmussen. I am already going to apply at St. Pete College and HCC but the idea of getting into Rasmussen is so appealing. J
ust need some wisdom and feedback on whether or not I should try and attend Rasmussen or just go ahead and retake 2 classes and plan/hope on getting into SPC/HCC.
Thank you for your feedback!

Cost will be a heck of a lot cheaper through community college.
Galen IS properly accredited now (officially this past summer for st Pete campus). I went that route back when they didn't have a five year limit to science and math transfers. It's a fast paced program but it got me to finally finish my RN after have my LPN.
I looked into Rasmussen but it cost more for me. I have heard good things from their graduates but I was also turned of by the intense telemarketing they did with me (repeated emails, calls, and texts).

I would avoid for-profit schools at all costs. Take all of your prereqs at SPC or HCC and see where your GPA is. I think SPC has fewer prereqs (we don't require Developmental Psychology or Nutrition), and is just an amazing school. 2 Cs wont kill you, so long as you can pick it up and do better on the rest of your classes.

A direct communication from Rasmussen recommending that you go there?
