G-J Tubes question

A patient has a G tube and a J Tube (they are separate tubes, not a GJ tube).

Medications are given with syringes through the J tube. Formula feedings are given through the J tube via pump at 100 ml/hr.

G tube is connected to a urinary type bag that is used for gastric drainage.

At the end of each shift the drainage bag gets emptied and measured. Whatever the amount of gastric drainage was, it gets replaced with Gatorade via slow gravity (not bolus or via pump).

My question is, do you give the Gatorade through the J tube or the G tube?

I have been told both ways so maybe there is someone out there who has seen something like this before.
