Hi All,

Prior service active duty CPT currently in the Reserves. Boarded as a FNP for active duty and selected in the February board. Awaiting orders and reactivation of active duty scroll. Headed out in a few weeks back on active duty through the Reserves for COVID. Will on an active duty Reserve tour while I await my full-time active duty orders as a FNP.

Anybody else boarded in FY 2021 and awaiting scroll and orders?

Hi!

I am in your same boat, currently Reserves going Active as a 66T. Was selected in the October board. Still currently waiting on d/c orders from the Reserves in order to get Active orders.... The CIV in charge of my Active orders told me I'm "tentatively slated for Germany" ?

Oh Germany is awesome! I am trying to swing for Korea. I was stationed there in 2012 and it would be nice to go back especially to the brand new base. I am headed to California on ADOS for 6 months in 2 weeks and will try to stay on ADOS while waiting for orders. Hopefully, won’t be too long.

Good luck! I hope you can get Korea!

Congratulations!! Germany is awesome! How long did it take after your scroll and commission for orders?

Congrats!! I grew up there as a military brat. Served as a 66HM5 (later transitioned to 66T), but I never got back to Germany, unfortunately. Just Fort Stewart and Afghanistan. LOL. I hope you love it!!

It took a little under 3 months, which is not too shabby compared to my previous experience when I waited 6 months. Hope it’s the former for you!

Not sure if anyone here would know, but basically I applied for 66S on the Reserve side for FY2020 and was selected by the board, but ultimately was not able to commission due to a waiver that was not approved. Am I allowed to apply again for FY 2021 or 2022? I am talking to a recruiter who hasn't gotten back to me with a clear answer on anything or what we are waiting on. Like we haven't even started doing the background checks, fingerprints, etc. Last time we got things going quicker. I know things go slow but I don't have a good feeling already.
