As many of you know by now, Kim Kardashian had her baby. As if you couldn't miss all the annoying coverage over every single detail. They named that poor kid North West. What are some of the funniest/weirdest/most unusual baby names you have seen? Could be a patient or someone you know in your personal life. And if you are someone with one of those odd names did you just learn to live with it or would you change it.

Just FYI - there's a couple past postings here on AN with a gazillion hysterical & unusual names. You can spend quite some time just laughing about some of those names and then you might want to scrape your jaw up off the floor after you read some of the bizarre ones.

But to add my own - a home care pt that I visited was named NAVY. He had 2 brothers named ARMY and MARINE.

Yeah but threads like these are so much fun to read unlike the endless nclex posts that are taking over right now. (I realize those people are anxious and nervous but it does get annoying).

I agree I wish there wasn't a PVT at all. Should be like the good ole days were you got your results in the mail.

Not a peds nurse but saw someone with the name BMW. I thought it was initials. Um no that's their first name. And no, they weren't a patient.

Jailyn (I get that it was supposed to be a version of "Jaylyn" but who wants a daughter with "Jail" in her name?)

My friends have a baby whose legal first name is "Rocky"

My favorite celebrity baby name is John Mellencamp's son "Speck Wildhorse"

Bam Bam. Yes, Bam Bam. No words.

I know of sisters named "Princess" and "Precious."

Honestly I don't believe anyone is named shithead, la-a, lemonjello, orangejello, female, abcde. Let's not post the same urban legends over and over again like the other thread.

Yes those are names of urban legends and had I not seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. It was recent immigrants and their spelling may have been off because of that. But thank you for questioning my post.
