Full time MEDICAL jobs for nurses while studying for NCLEX

Published

I want to know these jobs, give me a list or something.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

there is no "list" per se. You can work to be a certified nursing assistant, apply as a unit secretary or transporter in the hospital, you can take a basic EMT class.

I want to know a full time Medical Job with a little bit high salary. I'm planning to take a Tourist Visa to US and apply and find an employer to sponsor me a work visa. Please put the salaries too.

hate to burst your bubble, no ssn no job in the USA,no hospital is sponsoring and if they were there is a 6 year wait.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

currently work visas (H1b) have gone for this year and employer can not apply until next year (April) for a Oct start and no way you can stay in the US that long and support yourself. Also no guarantee you will get one.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

Duplicate threads merged. You might want to review the conditions of a tourist visa from USCIS before deciding to search for work while visiting. It is not a recommended practice.

Specializes in Critical Care, ED, Cath lab, CTPAC,Trauma.

I think you need to check with the restrictions/requirements of a visitor VISA......Visitor Visas - Business and Pleasure

Travel Purposes Not Permitted On Visitor Visas

These are some examples of activities that require different categories of visas and cannot be done on while on a visitor visa:

  • study
  • employment
  • paid performances, or any professional performance before a paying audience
  • arrival as a crew member on a ship or aircraft
  • work as foreign press, radio, film, journalists, and other information media
  • permanent residence in the U.S.

Unlicensed nurses are not allowed to practice as nurses. It is unlawful in the US for someone without a license to call themselves a nurse. Many international trained nurses are having issues with licensure in the US due to concurrency issues.

Please...please may you have a list...manners matter...there is no one list and there is a JOB crunch that remains in the US where 47% of new grads are unemployed. Where do you plan on immigrating to.....hospitals are no longer "hurting for nurses" and are not "sponsoring" any longer.

You can find job listing on Monster.com or Career builder.com.....but working as a nurse/medical job without a work VISA or SSN might not be a reachable goal
