Hello, everyone!
Since I have not seen one started on this site, I thought I would go ahead and get the ball rolling. This thread is for anyone hoping to get into FSCJ's Nursing Program for the term starting in the Summer of 2014.
Well if you are trying to stay by the campus apartments?? There is not a whole lot choose from I was born and raised here so I know the good, bad, and ugly. If you are going the apartment route there are some nice ones in the River-city area that's close to the school, restaurants, minor shopping, and airport. Just a piece of advice make sure you run the area you pick by someone who knows the city we do get quite a bit of crime all over the city but some places a little less than others. If you have any questions I will be more than happy to help you out.

Thank you so much, I will be sure to do that!
I just hope it's soon, I also have the burden of having to find somewhere to live :-/
I know how you feel, not that I'm in the exact same situation. I will be having my second child in 2 weeks, around March 21st, and I would really like to get most of my stuff done BEFORE the fact. lol That is why I am getting so antsy.

CONGRATS AMANDA!! Now we all have to pray we get letters ASAP so you can have everything done by the 21st!! You have two wonderful things to look forward to!! The nurse at my doctors office had a baby 3 weeks before she started the program.

Thanks! Yes I have a lot of fun new change to look forward to. Wow, three weeks! And I was worried about 8... I will be fine, I always tell myself that people do harder things everyday.

I think the fact that we are on this forum further exemplifies our dedication and seriousness to become nurses. I look forward to seeing every one of you in nursing school :)
