FSCJ Summer 2011 Hopefuls

Published

Is there anyone planning to apply for FSCJ's Summer 2011 RN program? I am taking A&PI and II next semester with Human Growth and Dev. and Sociology, then I'll apply. I am taking Microbiology during the spring prior to going into the program. I am taking the Nat in September after Chem 1032. What about you?

Yeah, my mail lady comes at about 11:30AM. I think the school enjoys torturing us

I seriously must have looked high and low for the nursing department's phone number. The only number I can find is the dean of the ADN's program. I can never find just the office number.

If you call the north campus, there is an option to connect to the nursing office I believe.

My husband stopped by the house for lunch and checked the mail. NADA:crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2:

Nothing today. Grrrrr!!!!!

Yeah, and when I call the nursing department all I get is the option to leave a VM :( Is that normal? Hopefully, it's not and their just too busy trying to get our letters out!

Yeah Ive had to leave a message before. and it took them 2 days to call back:uhoh3:

i know emails dont work..last term i emailed CJ and asked if letters went out and no response.

Yeah you're lucky if you can get anyone down there to call u back.

Every time I call the north campus and transfer to the nursing department I always get the voicemail. I think its like permanently set to that. What I do is I call north campus and choose the school advising and wait until I talk to an adviser and then I ask them to transfer me to the nursing department. Ive gotten someone almost every time when ive had to ask questions about the application.

Has anyone asked any questions about when the letters will be sent out?

Hey guys! I was wondering if anybody could help me with some information. I have been following this forum and found out about the 150% rule (which I had NO idea existed!) and turned in my appeal form today. However, they told me that because I already have my bachelor's degree, my chances of the dean approving it is slim to none! :( Is any body else in this similar situation? What other options are people considering? Sadly I don't know if I would get approved through a private lender and I have worked to hard to come this far and not be able to continue! Also I'm filling out some forms and it asks for anticipated graduation day...if I do (by the grace of God) get into summer, what would be the graduation term? Does the program run summer, fall, spring, summer or would it finish that following fall? AaaaaH!! This is sooo very stressful!
