FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016

Hello!

I haven't seen a thread for FSCJ Spring 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Who all is planning on applying for this term start? If anyone is in the program already, any advice??

So I guess the nursing department is looking at our applications already I received a letter from the nursing department stating they did not need my degree audit. They mailed it back to me with a sticky note same they don't need.....

Yeah I'm pretty sure they started going through them right after we hand them in ( Aug.3rd). And then if there is anything extra they send it back to you. Or if you left something out then they just throw your application out.

Hey everyone, I have not taken the HESI test yet. I am however almost to a point of obtaining my AS. Next semester which will be spring 2016, I will need to take Micro. This semester I am enrolled in AP II, Chem with a lab, Humanities & Human Nutrition.

If July 1st if the apply date,.... if I am enrolled in Micro by spring of next year, than I should theoretically apply for the June 1st application dead line right?

I just have to be IN the micro by the time I apply? This entire process is a bit confusing so I just want to make sure I have all ducks in a row.

If it does happen and I do graduate and can not apply until October 1st, does obtaining your AS hurt you prior to applying for the Nursing program? Or do you have to be currently enrolled in courses to apply?

I'm confused! Help please!

Good Morning Kristen,

You can be enrolled in Micro then you can still apply, those points wont be able to be added until the class has ended and a final grade awarded. As for being enrolled in courses in order to apply, no you do not. My sister took a 2 year break before she applied and will hopefully be getting in to start in the spring. Now are you talking about getting your AA or AS before you apply? The AA would be for General Education and the AS doesnt include as many prereqs and you would graduate after finishing your nursing classes. I will actually just be a couple classes short of getting my AA if I start in the Spring.

When you retire the hesi do they take the most recent scores, or they take the better of the two.
