It seems that some of our classes and assignments are up and others are having trouble. It seems to me that IT may still be loading the classes and assignments. I would give it a few hours if you are unable to access it in BB yet. It's a lot of work that needs to be loaded for all 160 of us.

That's a very good point. There are some files that I can't even save, let alone open. I click on it to download it, and blackboard just kind of stalls out. It might just take a little time to be running at 100%.

Well, my Techniques, Assessment and Pharmacology are all up! My printer is certainly getting a workout today! Now on to reading all the printouts and chapters. Ugh!

Doing the same thing... WOW what a load we have to print out. But better to be prepared than not.

All my classes are up and running. I downloaded and saved every assn and ppt to the computer and to my jumpdrive that I carry on my keychain. You just never know. anyway, I am only bringing to class what is required. I don't have all this ink to print all this stuff out. Im definitely going to ask about bringing a laptop. Id prefer to bring that than to print all this stuff. It sure would be helpful with ppts and research.

Good luck to all that were accepted. Term 1 will keep you busy. I am just starting term 2. The best advice I can give you guys is to take 1 day at a time. It may seem overwhelming at first, but you can do it.:nurse:

Do we all show up tomorrow at 9:30 AM for DC#1 class in E235? It looks like that is all that is on the schedule for tomorrow. Does this sound correct? I am so worried I have missed something!

Yes, all day students are going to be in E235 tomorrow at 9:30, and then that is it for the day since the degree audits were canceled. I know how you feel. I've reread all those emails and class schedules at least five times. I'm so scared I will miss something :crying2:

I really think it's a good idea to have at least 1 or 2 people or your study group or whoever that you can huddle up with for a few minutes right before we leave class each day to just compare day planners and such to make sure everybody knows and feels sure about what they have to have done or bring or wear the next day. I think doing buddy system type things like that will help us all to keep up with the chaos and prevent things from slipping through the cracks :nurse:

Yes, reality is reaaaaaaaally starting to set in. I'm sure by Thursday we'll all be extremely dizzy and thinking, "Dear God, what have I gotten myself into?!?!?!!!"

But like dwhite160 said, we can definitely do this. We'll just have to take it one day at a time, learn to accept help, and probably learn to live in houses that might not be quite as clean as we normally keep them :lol2:

Good luck to all that were accepted. Term 1 will keep you busy. I am just starting term 2. The best advice I can give you guys is to take 1 day at a time. It may seem overwhelming at first, but you can do it.:nurse:

Thanks dwhite160!! We appreciate the encouragement, and best of luck to you in your 2nd term :redpinkhe

Thank you for the words of encouragement! I'm sure I'm not the only one who is mildly freaking out right now (okay, maybe "mildly" is not the right word...how about MAJORLY), so just knowing that the Term 1 work load is doable is a big help. Good luck in your continued journey to becoming a nurse! :)

Great idea! I am in Section 5 and I could use a few buddies!
