Has anyone purchased the RN Student Skills Kit from Stat-Line Industries? Would anyone mind posting a detailed list of exactly what is in the kit? I have someone who has offered to give me some of the items in the kit if I can give them a list of exactly what is in it. I am so relieved because money is so short. However, I am embarrassed to go to the store just to look at the kit and then not buy it. I would be really grateful if someone could post a list of the exact contents (or take a photo!). NursRatchet, you are so good at these things, do you have your kit yet? Can you help?

No problem! I hope you're able to piece together the supplies for cheaper--but either way, don't stress, we apparently won't need most any of it until we start clinicals (halfway through term). I'm just a compulsive shopper. :D

Call until you get someone or go in because they can evaluate it on the spot. The way I finally got someone on the phone was to pick a different department in the menu and had them transfer me to a real, live human after I told them I meant to call enrollment services.

I went to see an adviser and she called records asking them to evaluate my transcript today. But it turns out, UNF sent them my transcript before my summer grades posted :( so the whole mess begins again.

Has anyone else had their award summary post in Connections yet? I've heard six different things from financial aid about when I can expect mine (including at least one outright lie) and I'm getting pretty nervous. When something similar happened with my appeal (I kept calling and calling to check on the status, and they would just say it hadn't gone through yet), it turned out that it had been tentatively approved for a week. They needed my acceptance letter and weren't going to tell me, just let me psychically figure it out.

Dealing with them makes my head hurt. Does anyone have any insight into award summary process?

the only thing that shows up on mine is bright futures. i applied for loans and all that, but it doesn't say if i've been awarded any.

But boy, was it ever heavy! I got quite a workout carrying that 100 pound box to my car! Ok, well maybe not 100 pounds, but it sure felt that way :p

hey marina,

the box you bought.. did it include saunders comp review, fund of nursing, nursing interventions, nursing diagnosis, pharmacology... etc. ?

i got 2 lists from the bookstore, but they both say they are "the box" so i was just wondering.

i priced one of the lists online, and it came out to about 320.

I'm having the same problem. I finally got someone on the phone this morning and Deerwood sent my appeal to North Campus yesterday even though I turned everything in 7/23. Now I'm waiting for North Campus to hopefully approve my appeal. FA needs to get a better system in place.
