Hello
I have such a complicated situation, I hope that someone can help.
I moved to Paris from Litchfield Park, AZ some time ago. My husband got word that we would be moving here the day before I got my acceptance letter to EMCC's program!!! Can you believe that?! After over two years of waiting on that dang list!!
It just wasn't in the "cards" for me to attend at that time.
In any event, I am heading back to AZ after the new year and as it turns out, I have all but one of the pre req's for the ASN to BSN concurrent program, except for Math 142 which I just enrolled via Salado for spring semester.
I have tried contacting the new nursing adviser but she has yet to respond. I hear she won't talk to me unless I've attended the pre nursing seminar.
So maybe you guys can help?
- I will be done with all pre reqs in February.
From what I can remember, I need to be in the pool / waiting list to apply to the concurrent program. Is this accurate? If I were to be back in AZ by summer semester, could I apply in time for fall 2016? What is the cutoff to get in to the fall semester might be a better question :)
I just need need an idea of what I am facing here but I can't get any answers. So frustrating
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

Yes you have to be on the wait list and you have to attend the normal info session along with a CEP info session before you can sign up for the application session for the CEP.
The application session for CEP I believe is in Feb. You should be able to find the dates at nursing.maricopa.edu or if your in the pool on your status page.
Emcc's advisor is hard to get a hold of. I would try one of the other campus advisors to talk to. I was attending EMCC for pre reqs but would alway reach out to GCC. They always got back to me in a timely manner.
Which University are you looking at applying to?
Thank you Mrs. Bookworm
I think that I will try another nursing adviser :)

Yes the EMCC advisor is sometimes slow to respond which is frustrating. To get on the waitlist you need to do an information session before meeting with the advisor, although I wonder if they will waive that for you since you have already been on the waitlist. To do CEP you need to be on the waitlist, then attend a CEP info session, then attend a CEP application session.
The application session for next fall will be in February or March probably so you'll miss the cut off for that. But if timing goes good for you, you can probably do the application session for CEP in May or June which would be for spring 2017 entry.
