I checked my application and it's evaluation pending. Says the lottery is pending too.

Mine is the same as yours

What does everyone's application look like? Mine no longer has the "application status" available. It just shows "Evaluation Statue: Pending"

Mine says the same as well...

They do a preliminary lottery before the lottery. Mine did the same thing. There was no method to the madness as to what the status stated. Some pending and some blank were selected and visa versa.

This gives me a lot of hope. I thought pending was over with after seeing others say eligible ?

Hi! I noticed that  you said some that were pending got selected. Mine hasn't changed to eligible, it still says pending, so do you believe I still have a chance? Do you know how many people got in that had "pending" as their status all the way through until the last day? Thank you so much! Im super nervous and feel super discouraged that others are saying eligible..

Someone in another group was selected for Spring24

I noticed the majority of my cohort had taken their A&P pre req within two years of application. All A's and B's In A&P and Micro. No C's.  At least half of them had bachelor's degrees. The ones who didn't had medical experience. Lowest TEAS in our group was a 79. Most of us scored in the 80's. GPA didn't seem to matter much if you had a stellar TEAS. I don't know if that helps anyone for your future applications if you don't get in this round but don't give up if you really want it.

Two people have posted they were selected for the Fall 2023 cohort.

Wow best of luck to all of you! I have 4 weeks of school left with 5 exams and 4 more clinical rotations! I'm feeling so burnt out but have to push through to finish my first semester of nursing school strong. I have an 82 in fundamentals and a 87 in pharmacology.

I used to think it would be super glamorous to be an RN but I'll tell you, it's not! After staying up so many nights doing so much reading/assignments, I realize they've earned every bit of success they have.

Best of luck to all of you!! If you get in, I highly recommend you read a fluid and electrolyte book while you're waiting for your semester to begin. It will make lots of stuff click sooner. I read one and I was waaay ahead of the game when classes began.

has Anyone been unselected yet wondering bc I'm still pending and if they're saving us for last

No same. I wish they put us first so we don't get our hopes up for this long. What's your plan next? Will u apply next year or do private? I know Gurnick's next cohort starts in May 2024, will finish August 2025

Best of luck to you so who have gotten in. It's not easy. 2nd and 4th semester will kick your behind. But just keep crying and grinding.

for those who haven't gotten in: look into the PA route. I am almost done with the RN program, if I did it all over again, I would go the PA route all day.

Have you done the prerequisites for Madera's LVN program?

I personally would not spend 100k at gurnick. They have a terrible NCLEX pass rate and you will graduate with the similar debt of a PA or MD grad.
