Hey everyone,
My name is Julie, I'm new to the site. I am a BSN interested in a MSN in eduction. I've been researching schools for next fall. I am more interested in a school with faculty and classroom time than online, so I found Framingham State College and Salem State as options for me.
I was wondering if anyone on here is in the MSN program at Framingham or Salem? Salem's online information for the school is pretty clear, and I know I can take 6 credits per semester. At Framingham, their course of study is two 5-credit courses per semester. I think that might be too much with FT 12-hr night shifts! I know I can call the school, but I thought I'd ask here first.
Also, those getting their Master's in education... I am concerned about getting a job after obtaining the degree, as well as the pay. I know the salary would be about the same I am making now (or at least it seems), but I still want to work per diem in a hospital at all times. Maybe even a PhD in the future!
I am not all that interested in a NP program... but I am a bit nervous about MSN in education and not being able to get a job.
Any insight would be great!
