Forensic Nurse Major/Minor?

by laurenm09 laurenm09 (New) New

Hi guys

I am going into university next year for my BSN in nursing. I am interested in doing

forensic nursing but I might not do that and might do mental health instead. Does my minor matter? Would do a psychology minor be best or anthropology?

The BSN matters more than anything - it is a generalist degree. I would think psychology would be more applicable. I would also talk to your university counselors about having a minor along with the BSN major - some students have posted here over the years that they wanted to declare a minor, but found that the BSN curriculum alone pushed them to the limits. Best of luck!
