Hi guys, this is my first thread on this forum. I'm a foreign educated nurse I graduated 3 weeks ago and I just applied to take the nclex. I haven't received my ATT as yet however I started studying about a week ago. I purchased Kaplan self paced online review course and I have been using it-so far so good. I took the diagnostic test before I reviewed anything and I scored a 37% on it 😔 I am discouraged and extremely scared to take this exam! I have done 75 practice questions so far from the Qbank in which I scored 45% and I feel like I know nothing! Like I feel extremely behind everyone else that were educated here. Im extremely discouraged 😞😞
I guess my question is has anyone experienced this or currently experiencing this ? Any advice or word of encouragement would be appreciated

I'm also a foreign graduate 10 years ago. When I took my NCSBN pretest, I got only 45% but when I read the context and answered all their qbanks. I got 63% overall. I cannot say I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass the exam coz I'll be taking it on July but I learned a lot again after 3 weeks of reading. Try and try to read all the rationale coz you will learn from it.
Thank you very much, that's what I'm trying to do focus on the questions and rationales...all the best with your exam and much success

I knew someone that didn't pass NCLEX for the same reason but after taking Kaplan she passed. Just a suggestion
