Hello fellow RNs,

Hi! Just to start, I finished my RN program overseas. I have been a practicing RN in CA for about 10 years now. Im thinking of moving to FL since my wife got a job offer over in the Jacksonville area. I checked the FL BON website and all it says there is for one to be able to get qualified to endorse to FL is to practice 2 to 3 years in the state where one earned his license. I just wanna clarify things before jumping into it right away since the fees are substantially high. There is an area in the FL BON website that talked about going through the credentialing agencies such as IERF, CGFNS, etc but i'm thinking those are requirements if you are just applying for the NCLEX and you haven't taken the exam yet. Please correct me. Any feedbacks?

Need to speak to the BON because usually if trained outside the US then you still need to go through the process and prove that your education meets US state education as each state will be different

hi silverdragon102,

i would like to ask if do you know what are the requirements for nclex in oregon? is it really a must to have a 960 hours of clinical work as a nurse? I am a nurse in the philippines last 2011 but i have no experience being a nurse. Do you think i am not qualified to take nclex in oregon? thank you.
