Foreign doctor & Excelsior

Hi,

I am a foreign doctor and had 3 years of clinical working experience outside US.Now I am working in a biomedical lab.I am very interested in the associated degree in nursing in Excelsior because I really don't want to quit my current job ( due to financial problem) and this is the ony way I found to get involved in nurse field. I have compared everything between an accelerated bachelor's degree in nursing and this Excelsior degree.Most ABSN costs up to $30000 and you have to do full time.As I am on a H1-b visa now, I think it is not worthy. Did anyone have some experience in finishing the courses as a foreign doctor or did anyone hear about someone in my situation could take the course well? I do appreciate any of your advice.

BTW, Is it difficult for a foreign doctor to find a job and sponsored for a green card after finishing this course and take the nurse board exam?

And is it difficult to take the course as my medical knowlege is taught in non-English? I once passed TOEFL with 610 ( paper based).
