Were there a lot of fundamentals questions? Just asking the basics? Or was it based on content and the disease process?
I know everyone's test is different.
I've been studying delegation, priority, etcetera. And then doing fundamentals. I kind of laid off the diseases for a while. I had a friend say she got all diabetes questions.

I took NCLEX-PN in June 2009. If I can remember correctly, it had fundamental content, as well as meds, and disease processes. I felt it hit me hard on the Endocrine system. So for my NCLEX-RN last February, I made sure to know that material. Do you think NCLEX-RN asked me a single question on the Endocrine? Nope. I was very disappointed. But NCLEX will ask you anything. There is really no way to know what they are going to ask you. So be prepared.

I just took NCLEX PN this month (Jan 2014). I had maybe 3 or 4 strictly fundamental questions. I also had pharm, peds, OB, mental health and med surg questions. Med surg made up the bulk of the content. I had a lot of SATA and priority questions.
I would advise to practice as many SATA as you can as those usually include content from all areas and are a good way to review comprehensive content, IMO.
Thanks! I'm doing all SATA as we speak. Makes me think a little harder than the multiple choice.
