I just wanted to take a minute to let you guys know that there is hope!! Just when you think you CAN'T DO IT!! Pick yourself up and know that if you put your mind to it and REALLY WANT IT it will happen for you!
I took my exam in November and failed and felt like my whole world collapsed. I felt like I let my parents down, my husband, my kids....it was terrible. I knew it wasn't a good time to take it because I had just moved from one state to another and the timing was just off. But I had to because I was already working as a Graduate Nurse.
For all of you who have families know that trying to study and take care of children is rough! ( I was pregnant in my last semester of nursing school) it was hard!!!
But through all of that I conquered a goal of mine that is to be a Nurse.
If you have to take the test again believe me as hard is it to tell your co-workers you failed! or your family! whomever!!! It is not the end of the world! (Half the nurses you work with failed the first time also They just don't tell you.
That is what life is all about picking yourself up, brushing yourself off and succeeding till you get it right. There is hope for you!!! Surround yourself with positive people and have a positive attitude and I promise you-you will eventually be living your dream to become and RN!!!

thank you so much for the encouragement. I have failed my nclex and feel completely bummed. I also have a family to take care of. And that gives me motivation enough to really do my best and stay positive

I am new to this site and I just wanted to say thank you for your encouragement. I failed a 2nd time last week and it was much harder to take this time because I felt so sure I was going to do it this time. you are right, it's all about picking yourself up & staying focused on the goal. Thanks again...

What's hard is finding a new way of studying after each failure. After twice I'm running out of ways to study, especially if I fail it a third time.

Thanks for the motivation. I recently found out I did not pass, after taking practice test after practice test that told me I would. It definitely feels like the world is going to end in the beginning but now I am all picked up and ready to begin this again. It makes me feel better that there are so many others out there that have gone through the same thing. Thanks again.
