Whats up peeps? It seems like sometimes the only people I think frequent this forum are either forum elders that have been here a while or people trying to find out info about entering school. Dont here much from all the SRNA's, RRNA's out there so just wanted yall to give a little shout out and tell us whats up, where you goto school, how you are doing, how long you have left, whats you favorite volatile, what you do on your free time, what beer you like, or just what ever. It seems as though in a sense the forum has started to fade off a bit, or at least if I compare it to 2-3 yrs ago when I was finding out valuable info here.
Ill start.
Program - Baylor ? yr, soon to be ?
I love it, but its tough as hell
Go out yeah right, have only stepped outside once this weekend to take the trash out:crying2:
Like BudIce light, cheap, lite, smooth and potent:idea:
Feel like I have begun the journey to enter a wonderful profession and am pumped.
Holler back, and good luck studying or in clinical ( although im not sure wishing someone good luck in the OR is the best thing)
Anyhow lets see how many SRNA's, RRNA's really do visit this forum. Holler, later.

Hey man, great thread. Just started at Duke, one month in. First test on tuesday, been studying a lot so I had to go out and relax tonight. I'm not too picky, I drink bud light mostly because its cheap, but I like newcastle on occasion. Been visiting these boards for probably a year now, I think its a great resource and I hope that at some point I will be able to contribute something useful to the people that will be in the same position I was in.

Finishing up 1st year at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). I will be heading out to Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH in May to start phase II. Hardest part is not being able to spend alot of time with my 5 yr. old daughter and soon to be 3 yr. old son. Luckily, my wife is great and 110% supportive.
-I'm a little partial to Black and Tan and Crown Royal (when I have enough money)
-Best part of the program: Our advanced medical pharmacology class that we take with the medical students this semester - the SRNA's are blowing them out of the water!

Hello,
Just started my 2nd semester at Albany Medical College in NY. The clinicals and classroom work is very time consuming but I've learned an amazing amount and still enjoying it. On top of all that, I'm starting my thesis project. Any free time I to get, I spend with the wife and kids. They sacrificed a lot to move to NY and I need to be with them as much as I can. I've been coming to this board for around 3-4 yrs but don't post all that much. Probably should change that since I've finally gotten into school. Hope everyone is enjoying this adventure and good luck to all.
P.S. Thesis is on anesthetic management in patients with LVAD's for elective surgery. Anyone have any experience with that?

2nd semester at Wake with graduation in August of 2007. First test last week, another this week, and about one per week until May like JennieK. Loving clinical and honored to be here. Agree with Goose, the worst part of school is not seeing my girls (Gracie is 5 and Chloe is 2) or their daddy very much. Had a date with him last night and it was AWESOME but felt weird since I cannot remember the last date we had........... Don't drink, but I love to exercise and surf the web. Best of luck to all!

Hey guys. Currently attending Kaisers program. Everything is going great. Currently in my second semester. Clinicals have been awesome but frusturating at the same time. However, this truely is one of the best decisons I have ever made. My favorite meal and beverage after a hard test is Amstel and Papa Jonhs pizza! Best of luck.

2nd semester at Georgetown.
Schedule this semester is WAY better than last semester (last semester kicked my @$$).
I love to shoot pool anytime I get some free time (which is not often).
I also love to drink Jack Daniel's and take shots of Jager!
When I do get a weekend off, I usually go back to WVU to spend time with my old college friends (Go Mountaineers!!!) and see my family.
Good luck to everyone this semester!!!

Nitecap,
Great Post!.....2nd semester in at Mount Marty College in the frozen tundra of South Dakota...I find that I just keep coming here and reading, and not contributing. I will definately make a mental note to contribute more (I feel like info from this forum has been invaluable not only in getting this program, but also surviving.....guess I'm just saying thanks to all contributors ie Yoga, Kevin etc.) Ok, down to business.....
I now enjoy Bud Select, when I have time.
When I had money I enjoyed scotch.
Done in 2/2008....even after the worst tests/experiences from the past semester I still thank God for the opportunity I've been given and for the support of my wife! (I'm sure those who are married with or without children can vouch)
