Hello,

I'm a new grad searching for a nursing job. I interviewed for an OR training program in the beginning of October. The hospital I interviewed with said they are hiring about 10 people for this program. The HR rep that I interviewed with said they would be making hiring decisions for the program around November or December and the program is starting in Jan or Feb. I sent my thank you email after the interview and haven't heard back since. The job is still posted and accepting applications on their website. Would it be pushy of me to contact the HR rep and check the status of my application? Thanks.

No, I don't think it would be too pushy. Just be brief and polite. Ask when they will be making a decision.
