I am looking to relocate to Florida and thought I would do travel first to find out which areas I like the best to live. Which travel companies are best as far as pay, contracts avail, recruiters, and benefits. I have never done traveling before, but I am a very experienced nurse. Thanks!!!!!

A large part of travel nurse compensation is in untaxed stipends for working away from home. If you are giving up your home, all your compensation will be taxed. You are bettter off going directly to staff as total compensation is likely to be better when you consider the benefits. As a traveler you don't get sick time, PTO, holidays, or vacation or retirement or good health insurance. You may also miss out on hiring incentives like relocation and sign on bonus.
