McFatter/Sheridan/Atlsntic Tech all good no waitlist. Just have to take tabe and teas tests and then after that Health Career Core and then it's sign up first come first served

I go to Atlantic Tech and love it!!! Here is a list of all the FL schools and their pass rates for NCLEX!! Good luck!!!

here

I am going to be attending Atlantic Technical (coconut creek) in January the process wasn't that bad just alot too do. I started with the Orientation in September and was accepted two months later so there is no waiting list just first come first served once you have completed orientation, background, drug screening, physical and TEAS Test.I know several people that have attended and they enjoyed going there. Its a tuff program but so are the rest to pass. Also ATC has one of the highest passing rates for the NCLEX. Good Luck!

Does anyone know the prices of any of these schools in broward or miami?

At Atlantic the whole program is going to cost about $3000-4000 this includes your tuition, books, physical, immunizations, physical, background, teas, tabe...all of it. Great price for what it includes and considering their Nclex pass rates it is an awesome price. Plus the teachers are great!!!

The community college is the cheapest. Yes, some may or may not have a waiting lists but for me its better to wait sixmonth to a year to go to school for $3k than to go to school right away for 15-40k. Yes. Those are real private nursing school prices.

Hey there, not sure if a decision was made as to where to go but I am currently enrolled in the LPN program at Academy of Practical Nursing and Health Occupations off of Okeechobee blvd and Haverhill in West Palm Beach. It is a tough program and my graduation date is July 28th 2011. The tuition is a little under 20K but worth it. If you have any questions feel free to contact me and I'll give you the scoop on the ups and downs of it all.

You said you are relocating so I thought I would mention this...

If you're relocating from another state your tuition will be higher than what other's have mentioned. I am also considering relocating and I'm from another state. I inquired to the Broward Technical schools (McFatter, etc) and the tuition for out of state is almost 3 times as much. It's not specified on their web sites, so I contacted them.

Specifically at McFatter, it would be about $14000 for an out of state student.

They offer financial aid, but only in the form of the Pell grant. No federal student loans so unless you can get private loans, only about $5500 (if you get the entire pell grant) would be covered by financial aid.

I'm in Michigan, where there are very few LPN schools and most are either extremely difficult to get into to, or very expensive (Everest is around $30K), coming up with $10k (after financial aid) still seems like a good idea considering...

will i fall behind if i skip my core classes.. i am already a hha/cna. i was told the core class was just basic nursing.. any advise people???

if you want to go to Haiti without going out of America... go to Greencross Schoolof Nursing. It is the worse place to be and looking for nursing education. Everyone there is nasty after you are enroled, the facilities are so crappy that it will remind our Haiti, dirty, smelly, grotesc. The owners are Mrs Lafortune and Mr. Lafortune a name related with a lot of sues do to their dishonesty and runing schools with no license for long time. Be very carefull not to get involve with them. Do not loose your money and time.

Does anyone know of any of these schools that have an evening program it seems like the tech schools only have day programs?
