Hey people,

ok im going to check FNC South Campus next week since its walking distance from my house :yeah: and i also want to do the nursing program ....just some quick questions ....

1. What is the passing score at FNC for TEAS test?

2. I have the McGraw-Hills Nursing School Entrance Exam .PDF do you guys think thats a good book to study from?

3.Do you guys take the TEAS test once you get in the program or once your done with your prerequisites and about to start your core?

4. Is there an entrance exam for the nursing program besides the TEAS test?

5.whats the Male and female ratio in the school?

6. I was thinking about doing my ASN first then doing my BSN so i can have some job experience and make some money...what do you guys think?

7.Would you guys recommend this school?

8.Is there a waiting list? :'( if so if im done with my prerequisites you think i will get a "seat saved"?

9.what GPA do you have to maintain in your classes before you get into core?

10. Can anyone get accepted to there nursing program?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

i was curious about this school, as i have never heard of it. my reseach found it to be a proprietary school. i don't see where it is accredited by either the aacn or nlnac. accreditation from either of these organizations is very important!!

i couldn't find any information on the cost, but much on financial aid. that raises a red flag in my mind.

as for pass rates, here is the link to school pass rates (i couldn't find fnc - very curious). good luck!

I was once interested in FNC but was steered away by the $25,000.00 tuition :eek:which does not include those expensive books or uniform! They require you to take a $50.00 TEAS and you must have an overall score of an 80% or higher. The TEAS is taken before anything!! No letter grades of a "C" is accepted in any of the prereq's. Well in my transition to apply I was told they were FULL till May 2012 and the counselors there were telling me I should take atleast 2 classes with them to save a seat?!?! Heck noooo, not for $525.00 a credit smdh:eek: ....Anyway if I were you I would speak with a counselor and DEFINATLY look at other schools! I, first hand, know it can sometimes be discouraging because the least expensive schools like MDC/BC have a LARGE applicant pool and only accepts a small number of students. Sooo, for me time is definatly not against me, but $$$$ is! To get my feet wet I will do the 12months LPN track first than bridge to a LPN to RN transition which will allow me to work and persue my dreams of being a nurse!! Good Luck:yeah:

Hello. I went to the South campus today to get info about their LPN program. They have one starting at the end of the month. I am curious if anyone has taken this program at this campus? Also the language barrier. I don't speak any spanish and don't want to sign up for something where the instructors speak spanish and its difficult to understand with the accent. Any info would be appreciated!

Hii all. Ill like to know if anyone is currently in the RN program at FNC. Im accepted for the spring of 2013, but ill like some feedback from current students. Thanks!!
