Hi! I passed florida nclex rn since 2007 but was not able to get a license since i dont have ss number yet. I will be migrating and working in new jersey this year. What to do first? Some told me to get ss number and at the same time apply for reciprocity and no need for florida license; some told me to get license first, then apply reciprocity.
Could you please enlighten me? Where do i need to apply reciprocity? is it florida or new jersey? do i need to apply for endorsement as well? please help me what step i need to do.tnx

If you do not have a license then you can not endorse. Ideally I would suggest contacting the state BON and see what they want you to do. They may want a copy of your CES report

Make sure you read and understand what the endorsement requirements are for any NJ applicants, you'll have to meet those.

NJ requires a social security number for license by examination and endorsement. Like previously stated, if you have not been issued a license in Florida you have nothing to endorse. You cannot obtain a SSN until you arrive in the US with a valid work visa. If you are working in NJ, do you already have a job offer and valid work visa and as such are entitled to a SSN? It is extremely rare to have a bona fide job offer in NJ without a current active NJ nursing license whether citizen or immigrant due to the tight market and more nurses than job openings.
