What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing updates on the waitlist movement for a specific program, sharing experiences of getting off the waitlist or being accepted, and asking for advice on the interview process without disclosing specific information due to signing a waiver. Some members are providing general tips for the interview process, such as studying specialty topics, CCRN material, and ACLS protocol.

Here's a thread for those of us applying to FIU's CRNA program for Spring of 2025. Good luck to everyone!

I forgot to ask those that have received an interview invite thus far...where did you receive your invites? Did you receive the invites to your personal emails or within the messages in your FIU account? Thank you for your help!

I received mine to my personal email.

@AlSantander,BSN, RN Congratulations on your invite! Thank you for the info! I applied later on after completing a course and praying to receive an invite too!

For those who received the interview invite, does the interview sound like its going to be group interview? ... I'm confused. And in the letter I don't see anything like CCRN exam?

From what it sounded like in the info session and the interview invite, it sounds like groups of 3-5 with two parts, a cognitive/behavioral interview/activity in a group setting, and a clinical simulation in a group setting.  The CCRN exam isn't written, in the information meeting they said the clinical simulation would test CCRN style knowledge.

It makes more sense now. Thank you so much! 🙂

I heard from the program coordinator about my application not being verified.  I sent a message yesterday it was verified (error in Nova not sending transcripts needed) and haven't heard anything

Is it safe to assume all interview invites have went out by now?

Reach out to the admissions department just to be sure. Some schools send out invitations in waves.

They're email sent out about a week ago states you should hear from them by April 22nd. They also usually send out a "rejection letter" as well so I believe they will let you know your application status regardless of what their decision is. Good luck!
