Hi! Trying to find out if anyone who has recently graduated form the Excelsior Nursing program had any problems with the FL Board accepting their microbiology or H&P from Excelsior. I'm almost through the program and if I have to take these locally would like to get it out of the way now. Thanks.

I have not graduated yet, but I called the Board before applying to EC with this question and they told me that they do not care about the particular course, as long as I have met all the requirements of the accredited school. So, if EC accepts your classes, FL BON is fine with that.
You can call them yourself and ask :)

Here is a Q&A from FL BON FAQ section I thought might be useful to you.
Q: Can I apply for a nursing license in Florida if I graduated from Regents (Excelsior) College?
A: If you were a Licensed Practical Nurses prior to entering Regents (Excelsior) College and then graduate with an RN degree, may apply for licensure by examination in Florida. Non-LPNs may apply only if they have passed the NCLEX and have an active license in another state.
If you want to read the answers go to FL BON click on the new url click on FAQs
good luck to you
