Have you started your Evaluation of transcripts yet with either CGFNS or ERES or other approved service? FL will not accept application until they receive copy of evaluation

Hi Silverdragon102!

Im still on the process of having my credentials evaluated :) My only concern now is I couldnt download the Application form if the time comes for that. Because in their website there is an Online Application, I dont know if that is the application form for me as well. Or I just didnt fully understand the instructions :(

Thanks Admin! :)

Hello! I am currently overseas as well and I have my application submitted in Florida Bon. It's online application for me, but wait until you have your CES finished before you start the application. Hope it helps :). Good luck to us.

Hello maryjoi!

Thanks for replying! Yes, I will wait for my reqts to be authenticated before I flick them my application form. So,we can use their online applcation for overseas nurses like us? I thought we have to print a form and send them thru postage..I think I'v read that somewhere.

Thank you for your help!

Hello nurse2us!

No problem, and yes online application works for overseas as well and for my application I made an account online in this website https://ww2.doh.state.fl.us/DOHInitialApp/CreateAccount.aspx?Board=8017.

:) Good luck!

Thanks heaps Maryjoii! I added you as friend but i dont know how that'll work coz i cant even send you a private message. Anyway thank you for answering my queries... there's more to come :)

Hi, if you still want to send your application thru mail you can see the form under the resources then PDF forms then LVN / RN application for licensure by examination fill it out then print it. I have three long first names and it can't fit on the online application so they advised me to send a paper copy application. Hope this helps. :)

Hi Nerie018!

Thanks for your concern! I will start workin on my CGFNS credentials evaluation and maybe I will just send apply online to Florida State board website, like what Maryjoii did. Thanks! God bless!

Hi, I'm also a Filipino nurse who is planning to apply for nclex in florida bon. My priority date of 2008 finally got current in July this year. Unfortunately, the one i used for visascreen was the cgfns certification program. Now I really have to take the nclex because i need either a license to show or a pass letter on my embassy interview (that's what i picked up from reading allnurses comments). I also understand that much has changed from the requirements for nclex application from 6 years back. A friend told me that nowadays nclex requires an additional 2 yrs schooling for foreign graduates like me before one can process her nclex application, much like the bridging program in canada says she. Now that is really scary because that means that i'll have to be in the US already to take the 2-yr course requirement. Is there any truth to this? I hope not, or else i can never have my American dream.
