G'day everyone,
At 29, I'm contemplating a turnabout, career-wise, and having recently moved to Adelaide, I'm just wondering if anyone here might care to share their impressions with respect to Flinders' undergraduate nursing program, and particularly the graduate entry degree.
I suppose my primary concern goes to how well prepared students of the two-year trajectory feel upon graduation - and especially students without a background in health sciences or caring roles. Of course, ideally, for the sheer amount of clinical hours on offer, I'd have myself undertake the Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Adelaide, but since part-time study isn't an option there (nor with their Master of Clinical Nursing), and since I only have myself for financial backing, that route to RN-metamorphosis wouldn't be feasible without, say, a full RCNA scholarship.
Anyhow, on the off-chance that anyone wished to wax any which way on their experience, or message me privately (I'm new to this site, but I assume that's an option), I'd be interested to read what you have to say.
