Looking to move to Hawaii, PICU/NICU flight nurse from Texas

  1. Hi to all,

I have 10 years exp in NICU/PICU and ICU transport-pediatrics/neonatal. Looking to relocate to Hawaii with my family for a NICU, PICU or Transport RN job/critical care. Can anyone provide any advice how do I get out there? Does anyone know anyone I can talk to get more information about living out there as an RN. On alot of forums, it seems as though everyone thinks cost of living is really high....is is really? Nurses there have to live somewhere, can I make it living on RN salary in Hawaii? I would be moving there with two little kids (2 years, 7 months) and my husband is a RN as well (1 years experience with ER). Any pointers would be great! Thanks so much!
