I have never made a blog or even posted, but since this site made my waiting and worrying bearable I figured the least I could do is return the favor and post. I had my NCLEX Friday, Jan. 3rd, 2014 in Florida. I was worried sick. It shut off after 75 questions, and I knew I missed the last question because I looked it up immediately after getting out of the building. I was certain I was doomed. I spent the next 3 hours on Google looking up and reading past experiences. I tried the Pearson trick and got the "good pop up". But I was torn between believing in myself and feeling incompetent. I read TONS of blogs and felt more confident by reading others' experiences. Btw I didn't have any math or drag and drops, but several SATAs. Since it was a Friday, checking the board of nursing didn't do me any good. Thetefore, on Sunday I paid Pearson the $7.95 for the quick results and got the all mighty "PASS"!! This is to help give you comfort and confidence in yourselves. You've got this. Nursing school has prepared you, believe in yourself! Good luck!!

If you go to the NCLEX forum, there is already a poll to find out if the PVT works. I would recommend you go there and answer that since it's been going on for some time.

Congratulations!

Congrats :D, thank you for the encouragement!

Awww

Congrats to you. Surely some good motivation for those of us who are on our way. And you're from my favourite state

Congratulations!!! I just took the NCLEX yesterday as a matter of fact and I'm like most I'm glad to have gotten the error message when doing that PVT but Im still waiting for the official answer. Does anyone know if someone has ever gotten a false "pass" by doing the PVT? That's my underlying fear, that I have "passed" according to the trick but then I get the official answer and it says I've failed :_(
