I thought I did great on the interview, I have some experiences in a home health care agency and the Diabetes Society. I also have ACLS, IV/blood therapy, and BLS. The hospital I applied at had 80 applicants and they are only accepting 6 people. I thought the interview went pretty well but I got a rejection letter today.

Any tips of how to do better? What did I do wrong???

Maybe you did nothing wrong. As you said, they had 80 applicants for 6 positions. In cases like that, maybe 10 or 15 people "passed" the interview. So, some of them get rejected even though they did nothing wrong. It may simply be that the sum total of your entire application didn't put you in the top 6 even though they might have been happy to hire you if they had a few more positions.

I know that's probably of little comfort ... but it is often the case. Please don't beat yourself up about it. Review your application process ... and if you did the best you can do ... then pat yourself on the back for having done your best ... and move on.

Good luck to you.

I have been on two interviews and still don't have a job. As LLG said it is nothing to do with you, just too many applicants. Continue to try my friend.
