Did anyone else apply/interview yet?

I got a call last Thursday for an interview this coming week.

Great! What unit are you interviewing for? I'm surprised there aren't more people posting on this topic. OHSU is the biggest/best hospital in Oregon and critical-care spots are highly coveted. I'm sure many people applied.

They asked me to rank my top 2 choices. I went with the trauma ICU first then the MICU. I think I've only focused on OHSU so far but I have a leg up since I've worked there in the past. They love hiring people that know their system. Good luck!

Nice. Yeah, working for them should definitely give you a leg up. Trauma ICU was my second choice. I interviewed for my first choice, which was CVICU. Good luck to you too!

I applied and had an interview for CVICU. I doubt that I will be accepted since I probably won't be able to transfer my license by the start date :(

I really hope I can apply again and get in for the next cohort.

That's unfortunate. Sorry to hear that. Not sure I'm having better luck.

I just received a call back today about my interview with the CVICU. They told me that I've been selected as an alternate. The recruiter said that I, "scored very high on their evaluation tool", but that "other people scored higher." She told me that the manager of Neuro ICU would like to interview me for a spot even though that wasn't my first or second choice.

Shortly after the call from the recruiter, the Neuro ICU manager calls me and tells me that "The other managers really liked you and wished they could open a spot for you, but they just couldn't and I would like to interview you for my unit." I'm not sure I believe them, but I would really love to work there. It's my top choice hospital and the position is still critical-care. I'll be interviewing again next week.

Hey, keep your head up, that's still amazing! I had my senior preceptorship in the neuro ICU and it was honestly great. If you have a chance at OHSU in an ICU, I think you're doing great!

Did anyone receive an offer? I interviewed yesterday as an alternate for Neuro ICU. Curious to see if anyone else had to interview again or if they got what they wanted.

Hi! I am about to graduate nursing school in 2 moths (yay!) and begin applying for OHSU apps this May. Do you have any recommendations on how cover letters or resumes in order to get and interview with OHSU? It's my dream Hospitals and I want to know what they are looking for. Also how was the interview ? Was it a group interview ?

Also a new grad here! I'll be graduating in May and would love to work at OHSU, it's one of my top hospitals. If anyone has tips for interviewing please let me know!

How did this work out for you? I have a phone interview tomorrow for the August 2018 cohort and I'm looking for any/all insight into process.
