I am noticing a pattern here when studying for the NCLEX

  1. I have been studying from several books but primarily Saunders. I have noticed that each question in each subject area tends to be the same across the different NCLEX books. I am just wondering if I should expect to see many of the same questions on the NCLEX. If I do well on the questions, can I expect to do well on the NCLEX?

Yes... BUT !!! Get a good hold on the REASONING behind each question ! The questions are really more geared toward your UNDERSTANDING the reasons for such and such. More critical thinking and nursing judgement...

I just took my NCLEX-RN and passed after the minimum number of questions. I read Saunders books, and took the Kaplan review course for the NCLEX. There is a computer disk included in the textbook that went with the review course. These were all very helpful. I found the NCLEX questions to be very similar.
