I personally think it was a waste of money. Annoying and useless. I could be wrong. I passed the exams without studying a single thing from the books, and Cds that later came out.

I also hated it. Just finished with my Kaplan review. Just scheduled my NCLEX date and I'm flipping out.

We needed to take the ATI and passed 75% before we can exit. But I didn't study ALOT and made it > 75%....I don't know how helpful that would be for preparing NCLEX...

We had ATI also , the scores we had to obtain varied for each test. The comprehensive test we had to have 95% and with each test we could only take it twice ,then you were out. They used these test as a predictor to how you would do on the NCLEX. I didn't see that anything from these test helped me pass the boards Jan. 14.

I personally didn't find them helpful at all. A lot of the time I was questioning the answers (and the questions themselves). We didn't have to have a set % on the predictor ATI to graduate, but I know a few who got 95% and above who failed the NCLEX RN. I'm sticking with Saunder's this time around, which is the only resource I used to help me pass my NCLEX PN last year.

My school used ATI and it was a waste of time and money. We all hated it and the felt we all did worse and it just frustrated us more. I would use KAPLAN. I used that both my LPN and RN and passed the first time on both. KAPLAN is the way to go!

I do not like the sound of this.

My program gave us a whole box of ATI products (at a price of a course fee...boo) and we will be taking exams at different points during the program. They are not graded, but based on how we score determines where we will be placed for our Clinical Immersion experience for our last semester before we graduate.

My program uses ATI. We pay an additional $55 per semester for it. For each clinical course (there are 8 clinicals), there is a corresponding ATI exam that we must pass within a certain percentile. We get one retake if we don't pass the first time, but a second failure = failing the class, regardless of your grade in that course. So, essentially, ATI's are do-or-die in my nursing program. There's also a HESI exit exam that we're required to take during the last semester in order to graduate.

My first ATI exam is in April and I am scared TO DEATH.

Don't be afraid of the ATI. You should hae been given access codes and passwords for the practice exams for each upcomming section. It was the same way in my school; "do or die". We had to take the ATI RN Predictor in our final semester and pass with a 90% predicted pas rate or we couldn't graduate. AND we had to pay $78/ semester fo the materials.

I'm telling you, you should do fine. Practice the exams to get a feel for the question format and content to be safe.

I used ATI throughout school and used it for studying for the NCLEX (along with some extra NCLEX question books) and I really liked it. I passed with 75Q
