I'm in MA and we had a big Nor'easter last night. My district had to close because almost the entire town is without power. My hometown where my kids go was on a two hour delay. The drive to school was crazy- trees down everywhere, powerlines down, etc. Any other MA folks get hammered last night?

I'm in the midwest and we had a blizzard come through last week. We got an early dismissal on the 10th, and no school on the 11th. Earliest I ever remember a snow day! Its all melted though now thankfully!

Yep, though my town was hammered, we still had power. But I was out late and drove home at ~12:30 AM through it and it was a MESS. My school is fine, but it isn't in my town either.

in NJ - Boy was it crazy windy and rainy - i'm surprised there wasn't more power outages. When i left for work i saw 6-8 power company trucks queued up in the walgreens lot.

One school in our district closed due to no power; We had a few families who couldn't make it in due to downed power lines on their street. Otherwise, just lots of small branches and tons of leaves down in my neck of the woods!

I'm in Central MA, we lost power but it was back on by morning. But YES, I thought my house was going to blow away and we got pounded with rain and severe flooding in my town. A bunch of trees were down too. Crazy! Hope all is back to normal for you!

Thinking about our colleagues in Dallas, they had terrible storms roll thru last night. Ugh.
