Hello, I have been talking to three travel companies: Preferred Healthcare, ProCareOne, and Supplemental Health Care. Each recruiter I asked up front and emailed a picture of my dog and they said it would be NO PROBLEM finding housing for my dog. After going through the extensive paper work, getting submited, interviewing with hospital managers they came back saying couldn't find housing for my dog and Preferred Health wanted me to commit verbal with out even seeing a contract? Is that the norm? Then Supplemental wanted me to sign the contract before finding me housing for my dog which I refused to do and they came back with me paying $2,200 a month for my own housing as this company does not pay your housing any way period. Is it normal for you to pay your own housing and only make $14 per hour then get meals/lodging pay of $808 per week? With no other benefits? Also while reading the forums I see people talking about neogiating your contract for the things you want like time off ect.. How do you go about doing that and what are the best companies for negogiating different things?

I bet the main problem with finding housing for your dog is the type of breed that you have. Most apartment complexes have breed restrictions. Good luck.
