FIRST nursing interview TOMORROW

Tomorrow afternoon, I have my FIRST NURSING JOB INTERVIEW for a Labor and Delivery unit--hands down a dream job.

I would add 10,000 hearts and smileys if I could.

All new grads hired through this hospital system go through a months-long nurse residency program, regardless of unit/specialty.

Can I just say I'm stoked? So excited and amazed that I got the call.

I've printed my resume and professional references on fancy paper (even though my online application contains references and work experience, along with an upload of my resume). I've considered my strengths and weaknesses. I can describe myself in three words. And I've done some research about this particular hospital.

And...I programmed driving directions into my phone's GPS.

Anything else I can do to prepare for this interview?

I have done the work--all As in nursing school save for one B and glowing clinical evaluations--so I appreciate any feedback that's given from posters here.

THANK YOU AllNurses for guidance on my journey since 2010. Hopefully I am proof that the time and effort of nurses on this forum adds up to something. I plan to pay it forward.
