i am back from my first day of classes. the anxiety has lessen and the "fear" begins. :) lots of love

on mondays i have only one class and it is fundamentals of nursing (8-12). however, we met our other instructors and they gave us our reading assignments and class objectives.

i also learned that we have not just the 64 new students but 20 that are back for their second try from last fall and now we have a total of 84 students.

we were given the titles of other required-books and i did go ahead and purchase them today.

i have a 4 chapter reading assingment for my health assessement class on tomorrow and 3 chapters for pharmacology as well.

just wanted to share some of my day with you.

Glad to hear you had a good day. So far so good here as well. Today was my 2nd day/week. Today in lab we had to "interview" a partner and build a genogram plus went over some other stuff. The time goes by very fast in both my nursing classes and the lab. I've been taking a ton of notes.

Good luck to you!!

Glad you had a wonderful first day. We gained about 5 students in my class that are back. Making a total of 45 who are now in the class. My orginial class started out at 58 students. We ended up with 40 orginial in my class for the first of this year. Out of the 18 who are not the orginial 9 of them are back in the junior class instead of the senior class. Two of them who are my friends are going to other nursing schools that they really wanted to go to in the first place but did not go for it the first time. The other 7 decided nursing was not for them.

Hey LPN, future RN

I'm glad that your anxiety has lessened. Are your teachers encouraging? I hope so. I'm about ready myself to resume my studies...

it is good to know that those who didn't pass the first time, came back to give it another try. it says a lot to me.

I want to make it unanimous. I had a good day too. My A & P

instructor seems reasonable; and the class might not be as

hard as I thought; we'll see.
