First Day Back (no kids) - Emails and such

I have been low-key stressed about the mess I'd walk in to returning from a not-so-relaxing summer but shockingly, I only have 44 emails and 2 VM! SUCCESS! Now on to audit my incoming 6th graders vaccination records...

Wow you are back early! I check my work emails throughout the summer, as they do send out good information from time to time. And on the plus side, they disconnected my phone when school let out because I get to move into my new office in August, so no VM's for me! Hope you day goes quietly!

I knew someone would comment about the early state date lol! We do start so early here in AZ... I think maybe to save the kids/families from the extreme heat? Not sure. Our kids come back Aug 12, but I'm here two weeks early to do immunization clean up.

WELCOME BACK!! I do not view the job of checking my email/vm over the summer as something I'm contractually required to do but mine was also blessedly unfull. I have 20 more vaccine records to enter. The fun starts Monday with existing students returning (looking forward to all the fun calls for the 7th grade MCV) and the inevitable district shuffle.
