Hi!
I'm a Swedish educated RN, BSN. I finally got my license in the state of NY back in September 2019. But as of now, I also have my Visa-screen issued and ready!.. So the only thing that's left is a job. Without signing these 2-3 year long contracts through agencies, does anyone have a tip in how to find a job in the US that sponsor my Green card? 🙂

I highly doubt that you’d find an agency or even hospital that is willing to sponsor you but doesn’t require a contract. Immigration sponsorship is a lengthy and expensive process, so I’m sure the employer wouldn’t want to splurge their budget to sponsor you, only for you to work for a couple months until you have your green card and decide to quit. I received my sponsorship from a hospital and they still require me to sign a three-year contract or I have to pay them back all immigration processing fees.

If you truly cannot commit to contracts, my advice is be prepared to pay the compensation fees when you decide to resign from wherever you obtained your sponsorship.
